Humble Beginnings
It’s the start of a New Year and new beginnings for Dave and I at our property on Poor Valley Creek Road in Rogersville, TN. Dave is utilizing some of his vacation to start demolition/gutting the existing house in freezing weather conditions. He is a beast; hard working, a little nuts, and very motivated!
Baby it’s cold outside! Dave is staying in his trailer whilst working on demo/gutting of the existing house!
Propane heater serves to keep the trailer warm and he has a small cookstove for making hot meals; have to save money and this is cheaper than staying in a hotel and dining out!
Work began as soon as he arrived on Saturday night and will continue through Wednesday morning!
He was not alone!
There were plenty of mice to keep him company as you can see by these nests.

I think it ate well after Dave disturbed all the mice who were nesting in the house!
Great progress was made despite the freezing rain and snow. We have a lot of planning and preparing to do, and quite a few materials to purchase prior to our next visit. Stay tuned!
